چکیده
Strains of bacteria with the ability utilizing glyphosate as sole source carbon were isolated from soil exposed to herbicide by culture enrichment method and identified through partial 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. Sixteen different microbial strains glyphosate-contaminated sites in Kubau local govt. area, Kaduna state. Two strains: BBDD3 BBD4 found be best degraders able withstand up 16.4 mg/ml concentration. On basis 16s biochemical tests, BBDD4 identified Escherichia coli Sporanaerobacter acetigenes respectively. These demonstrate laboratory 92% 98% for formulation, The optimum conditions degradation observed at pH 6.0 temperature 35oC strain BBDD4. Based on these results, two displayed their potentials used bioremediation environment.
